Regenesys Education is a private education group founded in 1998 and based in Sandton, Johannesburg. It is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a higher education institution under certificate number 2000/HE07/023, and separately under the Further Education and Training Colleges Act under number 2009/FE07/023. Its higher education programmes are accredited by the Council on Higher Education and its occupational qualifications by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations, while its qualifications are recorded with the South African Qualifications Authority. The institution also lists accreditation with the Services SETA, the Local Government SETA and the MICT SETA.
Teaching is organised into schools rather than traditional faculties: business, law, public management, technology, economics, education, entrepreneurship, psychology, health sciences and artificial intelligence. Between them these schools carry qualifications from higher certificate level at NQF 5 up to doctoral level at NQF 10, including bachelor's degrees, an honours degree in finance, several postgraduate diplomas, master's degrees in business and in public management, and a doctorate in business management. Alongside the degrees sit occupational qualifications such as the Occupational Certificate: Paralegal, which carries SAQA ID 117325 at NQF 5, and, through the group's Skills Academy arm, national certificates and a further education and training certificate at NQF 3 to 5, part qualifications and learnerships. A separate corporate education arm runs customised and open programmes for employers.
Programmes are delivered on campus and online. The paralegal qualification, for example, is listed as an online programme running two years for 330 credits. In South Africa there are sites in Sandton, Observatory in Cape Town, Umhlanga in Durban, Polokwane and Nelspruit, and the group also lists offices in Nigeria, India, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius and Botswana.
Intakes run several times a year. Most programmes list February, March, July and October, while the doctorate lists January, April, July and October, and no single application closing date is published. Undergraduate entry generally asks for a matric with a bachelor's pass or an equivalent NQF level 4 qualification, together with competency in mathematics, English and basic computing; master's entry generally asks for a relevant NQF level 8 qualification plus work experience. On paying for study, the institution publishes a FlexiPay arrangement that spreads tuition over an agreed period subject to credit vetting, and its 2025 prospectus adds bursaries through the Regenesys Foundation and an access model charging a monthly portal fee from R500.
