About ThinkEducation
Making education decisions clearer, for families and the institutions that serve them.
Think Education was founded by two South African professionals who saw the same gap from different angles: the information families need to make confident education decisions is scattered, inconsistent and often written for the institution rather than the person choosing.
Between us, we bring more than two decades of experience in digital business, systems and platform development, and the education and careers sector. We are also parents navigating these choices in real time, which keeps our work grounded in what families actually need to know.
We started Think Education to bring structure, clarity and independence to a process that has become unnecessarily hard to navigate. Our aim is simple: help people compare, understand and decide, without the noise.

Claire Minnaar
Co-founder | Digital & Systems
Claire has spent more than 15 years building online businesses and the systems behind them. She ran her own web agency for over 15 years, leading teams of developers and designers, and has delivered everything from consumer platforms to ERP and business-systems implementations for clients across multiple industries.
She is also the founder of MomTalk, one of South Africa's longest-standing parenting platforms, which gave her a first-hand view of how families search for, evaluate and act on information online.
Claire's son is now in his teens and weighing up his options after school. Working through subject choices, curriculum differences and the realities of tertiary admission as a parent, and not just as a professional, confirmed what she had suspected: the information exists, but it is not built for the people who need it. That is the problem Think Education is designed to solve.
At Think Education, Claire leads the platform, technology and product strategy.

Leigh-Ann Geydien
Co-founder | Education & Careers
Leigh-Ann brings years of over a decades experience in South Africa's education and careers sector, working with the platforms, institutions and audiences that connect learners to study options, funding and career pathways. She understands how the sector operates, where learners and parents get stuck, and what institutions need in order to reach the right audience well.
She is also the founder of Fertility Solutions, South Africa's leading fertility support platform, which she built from concept to a trusted national resource. Known for being thorough, organised and highly approachable, Leigh-Ann has a track record of turning complex, sensitive subject matter into content that people trust and act on.
A mother to Liam and Grace, she brings the same care and rigour to Think Education that she brings to her own family's education decisions.
At Think Education, Leigh-Ann leads content, research and sector relationships.
How we work
We approach education the way we approach any business problem: define the question, gather reliable information, structure it clearly and make it usable. Think Education is independent. We are not a school, university or agent, and we do not take commission for steering families toward one option over another.
For institutions and corporate partners, that independence is the point. We offer a credible, well-structured channel to reach potential learners who are actively researching and comparing, and we hold our content to a standard that respects both the reader and the partner.
For families, it means information they can rely on: curriculum comparisons, subject-choice guidance, tertiary and vocational pathways, funding options and the practical steps in between.
We are still learning too
We do not claim to have every answer. What we do commit to is doing the work properly: researching thoroughly, checking our facts and presenting information as clearly and usefully as we can, and improving it as the landscape changes.
If we have missed something, if you see an opportunity to work together, or if you would simply like to meet and say hello, we would love to hear from you. Get in touch.
