Key takeaway: Eight students finished the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines in 2026 at the International Wine Education Centre (IWEC). The next intake starts in April 2027, and IWEC asks interested people to get in touch early.
What happened
IWEC says it celebrated eight graduates at a ceremony on 22 October 2026 at Glenelly Estate in Stellenbosch. In a statement published on wine.co.za, IWEC says most of the group passed every module on the first try, which it calls rare for this Diploma. De Waal Gerstner and Garrith Holloway were named joint top achievers for the year. IWEC says the graduates include marketing managers, sommeliers, restaurateurs and winemakers.
What is the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines?
