Emeris Open Day

Emeris runs one national open day on Saturday 10 October 2026, with hour-long slots from 09:00 to 13:00. You choose your campus and your slot when you book online, so the visit is one set hour rather than a whole day. On the day you can take a campus tour led by students, sit in on interactive sessions about different study areas, talk to academics about specific qualifications, and meet student advisors about which programmes suit you. Sport, culture and social life on campus are also covered.

It is useful if you are finishing matric, returning to study as an adult, or a parent researching on someone's behalf. Emeris is an educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education, formed from Varsity College, IIE MSA, Vega and the School of Hospitality and Service Management, and it offers qualifications from higher certificates to doctorates.

Registration is required. There are eleven campuses across Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape, so choose the one nearest you and check its address and your travel time on that campus page before the day. Write your questions down beforehand, and take your latest school results along if you want to discuss entry requirements.
